Issued Facility Towels

An issued towel is a piece of operating equipment. It goes through a hot industrial wash with bleach, several hundred times a year, and it either survives that or it becomes a line in next year’s budget. Everything else about it is secondary.

So the two numbers we put on the quote are colour-fastness to bleach and shrinkage across cycles. A colour that greys or goes pink under bleach makes an entire stock look tired in one season, and a towel that keeps shrinking stops stacking neatly in the linen cupboard long before it wears out.
